15-Inch Soft-Close Side-Mount Drawer Slides: How It Helps

Worn drawer runners can make a cabinet noisy or difficult to open smoothly. These VEVOR ball-bearing slides combine full-extension access with a soft-close function for suitable kitchen, workshop or furniture drawers.

Features That Matter

The listed length is 15 inches, and the set uses metal side-mount tracks that allow the drawer to travel forward while being supported by bearings. Soft-close damping slows the final part of the closing stroke and may reduce repeated slamming.

Practical Applications

A full-extension layout is helpful when the items at the back of a drawer need to be reached frequently. The design suits refurbishing storage cabinets or building drawers where quieter closing is valued.

Before You Buy

Measure drawer depth, cabinet opening and side clearance before ordering. VEVOR's pack description conflicts between six individual pieces and six pairs, so verify the actual quantity before planning several drawers. Keep loads within the appropriate working limit, not just the static headline.

Choosing And Using It Well

A soft-close slide cannot correct a cabinet that is out of square. Before fitting new rails, check parallel sides, even gaps and the drawer's total loaded weight; smooth action depends on alignment as much as slide quality.
