Heavy Duty Drawer Slides: choosing this model

Full-extension locking drawer runners support deep pull-out storage in a suitable cabinet, workshop or vehicle conversion. A 40-inch slide helps reach contents at the back.

Practical applications

Ball-bearing movement and a locking feature can be useful in mobile or sloping environments where drawers should not move unexpectedly. The pair is for side-mounted fitting.

What matters when comparing models

Storage and furniture should be compared by their real usable dimensions and how the load is supported. A large headline capacity is of little value if the installation cannot be secured or the equipment does not fit the space.

Check before ordering

Check the drawer length, side clearance, screw locations and the stated 250 lb rating. The strength of the cabinet and drawer box can be the limiting factor.

Use and upkeep

Align runners parallel, use specified fasteners and test both lock and release before loading. Clean grit from the slides and avoid impact at full extension.
